James Santos is an Associate Attorney based in Morgan, Akins & Jackson’s Nashville office. His practice primarily focuses on workers’ compensation and insurance defense.

James is originally from the state of New Hampshire, growing up in a small town about one hour north of Boston, MA. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 2019. James then went on to attend Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, TN, where he obtained his juris doctorate. While in law school, James held various clerkships with law firms in Middle Tennessee, primarily in the fields of civil litigation and criminal defense.

When James is not in court or at the office, you can catch him attending concerts, cheering on his South Carolina Gamecocks, and spending time with his friends and family.
